Monthly Medal golf showcases multiple winners

The CDB Monthly Medal produced some scintillating golf at the Royal Colombo Golf Club where a strong field of players vied for supremacy across multiple divisions with a record 290 golfers in the fray during the last weekend at the beautifully laid down course in the heart of Colombo.

In the Overall men's segment VT Sundaralingam stole the spotlight with a superb 63 Nett (B/B 9) to secure the medal. In the women's segment, HMD Bandaranayake matched that brilliance also carding an impressive 63 Nett earning her the top spot in the Overall division.

In the Division A (0-9 Handicap) Sachin de Silva dominated winning both the Nett (69) and Gross (69) titles as Chandana Gunasekera fought hard but had to settle for the runner-up berth in the Nett division with 72.
