Chalani to lead SL at Asian Youth Netball

The Ministry of Sports and the Department of Sports Development have appointed Chalani Neesha of Holy Family Convent, Kurunegala, as the captain of the Sri Lanka Youth Netball Team for the 13th Asian Youth Netball (Under-21) Championship 2025.
The tournament, organised by Netball Asia and the South Korean Netball Association, is scheduled to be held in South Korea from June 27 to July 3.
The Sri Lankan team is scheduled to leave for South Korea tonight.
Sri Lanka Team Captain Chalani is a player with international experience and represented Sri Lanka in the last Asian Youth Netball Tournament (2023) and at the Asian Senior Netball Championship (2024).
