Cabinet clears republishing Rubber Control Act amendment

THE Cabinet of Ministers on Monday cleared republishing and resubmitting the proposed amendment to the Rubber Control Act No. 11 of 1956, following delays caused by the dissolution of Parliament in September last year.

The draft amendment, prepared by the Legal Draftsman's Department, had initially received Cabinet approval on 26 February 2024 to be published in the Government Gazett
