Striker enthused by rash of big-money signings at Forest
CHRIS WOOD reckons Nottingham Forest can reach for the stars after the club took their summer spending past £150million yesterday.
The striker grabbed a brace as Nuno Espirito Santo’s men opened their Premier League campaign with an emphatic 3-1 home win against Brentford on Sunday.
Debutant Dan Ndoye also got on the scoresheet after new signings James McAtee and Omari Hutchinson were paraded on the pitch before kickoff.
Forest added French striker Arnaud Kalimuendo from Rennes for £26m yesterday and also want to sign former Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz, who is keen on a return to the Premier League from Juventus!
Wood said: “McAtee and Hutchinson are two great signings and — who knows? - there might be a few more!
