Winter fuel victory, now U-turn on farm tax raid

THIS is not the time for the Chancellor to dig in her heels. Rachel Reeves did the right thing when she restored the winter fuel payment to millions of pensioners.

The Chancellor should now abandon her inheritance tax-raid on farming families. It is time to end the anguish in our rural communities and give farmers confidence they can invest in agriculture without dropping a tax bomb on their children.
