PRINCE Edward displayed decency and wisdom that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has sadly lacked when he urged people to “remember the victims” of paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

His brother’s reputation has been wrecked as a result of his dealings with the sexual predator, and his failure to show regret for the friendship in his 2019 Newsnight interview caused jaws to drop.
If Mr Mountbatten-Windsor had displayed Edward’s good sense and not obfuscated about the nature of the continuing relationship, he would not be in such a hole today.
