"The abuse in world of ballet needs to change'

BODY shaming of aspiring dancers at some of the world's most prestigious ballet schools is worse than the pressure on sports stars in the making, claims a lawyer representing several performers.

Dino Nocivelli recently helped ex-Royal Ballet School student Ellen Elphick reach a financial agreement with the organisation and says he is representing at least five others with similar claims spanning the past two decades.

He has written to Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy, asking for a meeting and insists more needs to be done to protect dancers during training.
