Malaki Conteh, 13, is the first ever black chief chorister at Chichester Cathedral, and funds his £4,000-per-term scholarship fee as a full-time boarder at a nearby school through his successful food business.

The precocious youngster had seen choristers singing in a YouTube video, and when he said he wanted to do that, his dad told him to start saving for singing lessons.
