Suspect leaps into arms of the law

THIS is the dramatic moment when a suspect jumped between the roofs of two homes as he tried to flee a drugs bust.

The man made the dangerous leap for freedom wearing socks and a pair of pool sliders while police were raiding a cannabis farm set up in a semi-detached village house.

Police photos taken during Wednesday's raid show him clambering out of a top window of a property before jumping across a gap on to the roof of a neighbouring house.

But a suspect in a grey tracksuit and sliders was quickly arrested in a nearby garden.
