Starmer 'not clear at all' on £28 billion green pledge

TORY chairman Richard Holden yesterday slammed Sir Keir Starmer, claiming his plan to deliver clean power by 2030 is still "not clear".

The Labour leader has vowed to borrow £28billion a year to fund a green power transformation if his party wins the next election.

Mr Holden said: "Keir Starmer recommitted to his 2030 energy promise and acknowledged it requires Government spending to deliver Labour's own costing of this promise is £28billion every year."
