Stalker jailed for vile messages and threat to kill TV presenter's dog

TV presenter Laura Woods has been freed of her cruel stalker after the obsessed football fan was locked up for bombarding her with shocking texts and threatening to kill her dog.

The TNT Sports host was left "in real fear" after Harneet Kaur targeted her for two years - not only online but also at her London home.

Wolverhampton Crown Court heard how the Liverpool FC supporter, who went online by the name "Krazy Harns", first became obsessed with Ms Woods in June 2021.

After initially sending food treats to her home, Kaur's sinister obsession became "darker" as she branded Ms Woods a "former prostitute" and posted her copies of the Bible plus sexual health tests.

Kaur's sick campaign lasted until September 2023 and had an "enormous and devastating" impact on 36-year-old Ms Woods.
