Sophie comforts mother of genocide massacre victim

THE Duchess of Edinburgh embraced one of the mothers of those killed in the 1995 “horror” Srebrenica massacre, Europe’s worst atrocity since the Second World War.
Sophie addressed tens of thousands of people at a ceremony in the town of Srebrenica which marked the 30th anniversary of the massacre. Some 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men and boys were slaughtered by ethnic Serbs during the Bosnian War.
