'Son dressed as his dead mum to get her pension'

AN unemployed nurse has been arrested after allegedly disguising himself as his dead mother in a bid to collect her £46,500-a-year pension in what has become known as the “Mrs Doubtfire case”.

The unnamed man in his mid-50s is said to have appeared at council offices with his hair styled similarly to his late mother, Graziella Dall'Oglio, while wearing makeup, a pearl necklace, earrings and a blouse.

A clerk became suspicious and reported him to her superiors.
