Social media star dies on 10-day abuse live-stream

A JUDICIAL investigation has been opened into the “horrifying” death of a Frenchman during a live-stream on which he was seen being abused by two men on social media.
Raphael Graven, 46, known online as Jean Pormanove, died on Monday in Contes, Nice. Prosecutors ordered a postmortem examination to establish the cause of death.
Graven had built a following on the platform Kick, with live-streams of him being humiliated and assaulted. He had been streaming nonstop from a rented flat for 10 days, according to France 24.
