Slot admits he was floored by Forest's Anfield ambush

ARNE SLOT told his Liverpool players after their September shock against Nottingham Forest that one thing would not be excusable again.

Not the defeat. As the head coach admits, that can happen against anyone.

What worried Slot, when he watched back their only league defeat this season, was the lack of fight to get an equaliser in the latter stages.

Slot was left concerned after Callum Hudson-Odoi's 72nd-minute goal earned an upset win for Nuno Espirito Santo's side at Anfield.

Ahead of tonight's return fixture with surprise title rivals Forest, the Dutchman said: "There were not that many things we did well during that game.

"What I mostly disliked was the fact in the last 20-25 minutes I didn't see something happening.
