Daily Express
|February 21, 2026
SIR JIM RATCLIFFE has avoided an FA charge relating to his controversial comments about immigration.
Instead, the governing body have written to Ratcliffe (below) to remind of his responsibilities as a participant in English football, when taking part in media interviews.
The FA had been examining whether the Manchester United co-owner's comments brought the game into disrepute.
Ratcliffe sparked outrage when he claimed in an interview that immigrants had "colonised" the UK.
