Princess of Hearts

KATE became the Princess of Hearts yesterday as she and husband Prince William charmed their way into the affections of some delighted people of Caribbean origin.
A celebration in Cardiff marked the start of Black History Month and the royal couple made a massive impact in showing their support for the Windrush generation.
Kate impressed pupils at a secondary school in the city as she revealed eldest son Prince George has been complaining about his exams.
The Princess of Wales, 41, told sixth-formers at Fitzalan High School doing maths A-level that she had been helping her 10-year-old with his revision.
She added: "So I know how hard maths can be. George is at the beginning of being tested. He says, 'I keep getting tested all the time"."
Royal sources confirmed last week Kate will not attend Prince William's Earthshot Prize environmental awards in November in Singapore to stay at home because George will be sitting exams in the same week. That fuelled speculation the future King is being prepared to attend Eton school when he turns 13.
But she joined Prince William yesterday to visit the Welsh capital, thrilling their hosts with their warm approach to their engagements.
Laughter
William flirted with community elders on the visit celebrating the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the Empire Windrush carrying the first Caribbean immigrants to post-War Britain.
As he gave one woman a hug for longer than expected, he joked: "I draw the line at kissing."
