'Post Office scandal boss should hand back gong'

FORMER Post Office chief Paula Vennells has been told she should consider "voluntarily" handing back her CBE or have it revoked.

The calls come as a minister warned that prosecutions over the Horizon computer glitch scandal remain a "reasonable" possibility.

Postmaster Alan Bates, whose story is dramatised this week on ITV, believes Ms Vennells' honour should be revoked after faulty accounting software led to over 700 managers being wrongfully convicted of false accounting and theft between 2000 and 2014.
