Peregrine pair captured sharing grisly gift of love

A PEREGRINE falcon is snapped passing some freshly killed prey to its mate mid-flight in this amazing wildlife image.

And while it might look gruesome, amateur photographer Jonathan Clarke says it is actually an act of courtship.

He took the sensational snap while watching the birds of prey, known as Peter and Peggy, who have built their nest high on Worcester Cathedral.
