Moyes playing the long game with Grealish

JACK WILL BE EASED INTO EVERTON STARRING ROLE

JACK GREALISH will be drip-fed into the Everton starting lineup because David Moyes does not want to overburden his box-office summer signing with pressure.

Grealish played 20 minutes off the bench in the 1-0 defeat by Leeds on Monday evening in a substitute’s role which became all too familiar at Manchester City.

After moving on loan to Everton for the season, the assumption of many observers was that he would be involved from the start on a weekly basis, but Moyes wants to be cautious with the 29-year-old.
