Monks' music to play after 500 years

THE discovery of rare music inside a medieval book will bring the sound of monks back to an abbey after 500 years.

Research by an Exeter University historian led to finding the monastic music. A performance will be held at Buckland Abbey, Devon, next month to mark the return of the book for the first time since 1539.
