Meghan's lifestyle brand has trademark rejected

THE Duchess of Sussex's lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard has suffered a setback after her US trademark application was rejected.
Meghan has now been given three months to respond to the decision from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
She has been warned that failure to do so could result in her application being abandoned.
In considering Meghan's paperwork, she was also told she must pay another £532 if she wants to proceed after failing to pay the correct fee initially.
In a 48-page reply, the USPTO explained why her trademark request failed.
Reasons included requirement a to amend the identification of goods.
