Medics: attacking Gaza workers is 'healthocide'

DELIBERATE attacks on health staff and facilities in Gaza and elsewhere should be branded as “healthocide,” a group of medics has said.
They argue the weaponisation of healthcare in conflicts must not be normalised.
Dr Joelle Abi-Rached and American University of Beirut colleagues say the Israeli offensive in Gaza since October 7, 2023, has killed at least 986 medical workers.
This includes 165 doctors, 260 nurses and 76 pharmacists.
