Manchester City captain with blue blood

ASK FOOTBALL fans if they remember when Manchester City pipped bitter cross-town rivals United to the post to clinch domestic football's top prize on the last day of the season, and nearly all would quote you Sergio Aguero's famous astonishing last-gasp winner in 2012.
-
And yet this was not the first time the Blues had inflicted such a dramatic final-day humiliation on United - indeed, in May 1968, all the Red Devils needed to do to win the (then) First Division title was beat Sunderland – ironically, the same team they faced away in May 2012 - but Sunderland and City both won and the title was sealed.
City's captain on that remarkable day was Tony Book, nicknamed "Skip" who made 244 appearances for the Moss Side club.
