Words of boy, 12, who reversed over foster mum

A BOY of 12 who killed a foster carer as he tried to steal her car later bragged to police: "Looks like I got my first kill."

The youth, now 13, reversed over grandmother Marcia Grant, 60, on the driveway of her home after being caught behind the wheel of her silver Honda Accord.

Yesterday he admitted causing death by dangerous driving when he appeared in court via video link from a secure children's home.

He had been due to stand trial for murder but prosecutors have now chosen to accept a not-guilty plea for that charge when the youngster is sentenced later this year.
