Lib Dem MP accused of 'astonishing' foul-mouthed tirade at voters and staff

AN MP has been accused of unleashing an “astonishing” rant during a visit to a nuclear plant.

Lib Dem Rachel Gilmour allegedly swore at Hinkley Point workers in an outburst witnessed by others.

The MP for Tiverton and Minehead “emphatically” rejects the accusation and insists there were “major factual errors” in the claims.

But a source said she called a security guard at the front gate a “c***” and an “obnoxious t***” before reportedly speculating “I bet he votes f***ing Tory”.

Disrepute

It followed an incident with her driving licence that was found to be invalid, sources claimed.
