THE glass is half full for Fabian Hurzeler as Brighton bid to put their European push back on track at rivals Crystal Palace.

Albion's five-match unbeaten run in the Premier League was ended by a 3-0 defeat at home to Aston Villa on Wednesday.

But, with eight games to go, the eighth-placed Seagulls are still very much in the race for Europe as they go to Selhurst Park today.

Hurzeler, whose side suffered an FA Cup quarter-final penalty shoot-out exit to Nottingham Forest last Saturday, has urged his players to prepare for a succession of finals now.
