Let them eat cake! Tesco's new sarnie

TESCO has launched its first “soiree sandwich” — inspired by birthday cake and loaded with rainbow sprinkles and vanilla frosting.

The special edition, which has taken nine months to develop, is based on a Victoria sponge.

It contains full-fat soft cheese, seedless strawberry jam, sprinkles and vanilla frosting between slices of brioche-style white bread.
