Halfpenny is relishing a 'special' Cardiff send-off
LEIGH HALFPENNY is preparing for his final outing in a Wales shirt by declaring he is a guy who has had all the luck.
The 34-year-old will line up for Warren Gatland's Welsh team against the Barbarians in Cardiff on Saturday in a game that will also give the public a chance to pay tribute to two other titans in Alun Wyn Jones and Justin Tipuric.
Unlike that duo, Halfpenny made the World Cup in France, winning his 101st cap in the pool stage match against Portugal before Wales were knocked out by Argentina in the quarter-finals.
Halfpenny announced his Test retirement last week but is set to play club rugby in Japan, which is expected to announced next week.
