Robbo admits Anfield future is up in air but he's given himself a fighting chance of a new deal

ANDY ROBERTSON has confirmed he is yet to open talks with Liverpool over a new contract.

And the Scotland skipper admits the subject of his future will start taking over his life in the coming months.

Robertson is free to speak to clubs outside of England from January 1 about a pre-contract agreement and has not yet started discussions with Anfield chiefs about new terms.

He was the subject of interest from Atletico Madrid in the summer after Liverpool's £40m capture of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth, but eventually stayed put to fight for his place.
