Keep judges' noses out of running UK
Daily Express
|February 15, 2025
"IN RECENT days we've seen a Pakistani paedophile allowed to stay here as "his children would miss him"; an Albanian criminal escaping deportation because his son had an aversion to foreign chicken and a nuggets; Palestinian family of six allowed to live here under the Ukraine scheme - even though they're not Ukrainian.
-
A Nigerian woman whose asylum applications were refused EIGHT times was told she could stay after she joined a terrorist group (presumably on advice from a lawyer) which she knew would mean she could stay.
Oh, and a Portuguese criminal can't be deported because his child needs speech therapy (aren't there speech therapists in Portugal?).
All of which is proof that now ANYONE who asks to stay here - can! And that's because our pathetic excuse for a Government has zero control over immigration and our leftie judges and human rights lawyers are now abusing ECHR laws and interpreting them to mean whatever the hell they want. THEY are now running immigration policy, not the elected government. And THEY get to say who stays.
Sorry, but this bastardisation of the ECHR convention is not what it was designed for.
It was drafted after the Second World War and the Holocaust to protect the people from the state and to ensure the atrocities committed would never be repeated.
