JK Rowling's 'rude' pal sues over vets' ban

A FRIEND of JK Rowling banned by a vet's practice following allegations she had been rude to staff is now suing for £25,000.
Criminal defence barrister Allison Bailey was removed from the client register two years ago after complaints about her “unacceptable” behaviour.
She denies being rude and claims she was “discriminated against” because of her gender-critical views.
Ms Bailey was previously praised by Harry Potter author JK Rowling in 2022 after taking on her chambers in a legal battle claiming she was discriminated against over her belief that being female is an “immutable biological fact”.
