Jess doesn't appear to give a toss either

WHY ARE ministers rejecting a request from Oldham Council for an official government inquiry into the horrifying scandal of child rape gangs and historic child abuse in the town?

Do they not understand the level of outrage concerning the scale of the abuse and how many victims were silenced?

The so-called Safeguarding Minister Jess Phillips wrote to the council telling them it was up to them "alone" to "decide to commission an inquiry into child sexual exploitation locally, rather than for the Government to intervene".
