Toon Army hail hero Bruno before both sets of fans give Postecoglou a sacking forecast
-
ANGE POSTECOGLOU may be feeling the heat - but Eddie Howe can sleep easy again as Newcastle appear to have weathered their early-season storm.
The Toon boss spoke last week about the fragile nature of football management, with Aussie adversary Postecoglou already under pressure less than a month into the Nottingham Forest job.
While both sets of fans told Postecoglou he is getting sacked in the morning, there will be few people on Tyneside calling for Howe's head, providing his side can build on their first back-toback victories of the campaign.
A nightmare summer for the Magpies manager dragged into the opening games with striker Alexander Isak on strike and just one win from their opening six matches in all competitions.
But the form of new boy Nick Woltemade - who matched the record of Les Ferdinand and Alan Shearer by netting in each of his first three home games has cast memories of Isak into the past.
A bright man-of-the-match show from Bruno Guimaraes (left) suggests the Newcastle captain has never been more committed to the cause.
