Farage accuses Sir Keir of 'cover-up'

NIGEL Farage has accused Sir Keir Starmer of a cover-up over the grooming gangs scandal following a Daily Express exposé.

The Reform UK leader suggested the Prime Minister is trying to postpone a proper inquiry until after the next general election or sabotage it altogether.

Writing in today’s Express, Mr Farage blasted: “For decades, Labour authorities and police in English towns and cities covered up the rape of thousands of young British girls by gangs of largely Muslim men of Pakistani origin.

“It was one of the greatest scandals in modern British history.

“It will be an even bigger scandal if the Labour Government tries to sacrifice justice for the victims again, in a desperate bid to save its own skin at the ballot box.”

The Reform leader’s fierce criticism of the “morally corrupt” Government comes as pressure intensifies on Sir Keir over his handling of the inquiry.

It also follows the joint probe by the Express and MyLondon into whether rape gangs have been operating in London.
