Israel says it may cut UK spy ties

ISRAEL has warned it may cut security ties with the UK if Keir Starmer recognises a Palestinian state this year.

It has been a close ally for decades, providing the UK’s spy agencies with crucial intelligence on potential terrorist attacks and saving countless lives.

An official warned that countries, including France and Canada, that recently announced intentions to recognise Palestine should “carefully consider” the consequences.
