I tell Jane, 'Look, I've got an idea' and she says, 'Please don't say that in public'

He met Jane at University College London in the early 80s and even runs jokes past her.

Ricky says: "I usually go jogging and I come up with an idea and think 'Oh, that's a good joke'. I then run home and I tell Jane.

"I go, 'Look, I've got an idea'. I tell her and she says, 'Please don't say that in public'.

"And I know that I can work on that, that it's got something."
