HS2 fraud probe as costs soar

A FRAUD probe has been launched into the delayed HS2 after costs increased by £37billion.
Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander told MPs yesterday the troubled high-speed rail line linking London and Birmingham was “a litany of failure” and will be delayed beyond the planned opening date of 2033.
