Homebuyer sues over £1.5m 'Versace flat' missing a bath

AN accountant who was promised "the ultimate in luxury" when buying a £1.5million Versace-designed flat is suing the developers, claiming a bathroom had no bath.

Mi Suk Park paid a £381,000 deposit on a two-bedroom apartment with a parking space.

The off-plan purchase was made after Ms Park, 54, viewed a brochure and floorplan and made the "lifetime decision" to splash out on the deluxe pad which, she told Central London County Court, was intended to be her and her husband's "main home until retirement".

Refused

The 50-storey Aykon London One tower in Nine Elms is dubbed the "Versace Tower" after a collaboration between developers and the fashion house to design the interiors.

But Ms Park refused to move in and is suing for over £700,000 after complaining the apartment was "materially and manifestly different from the layout of the apartment as set out in the plan and description".
