Holiday rep: I was raped three times by Brueckner

A FORMER holiday rep told a court yesterday that Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner broke into her apartment and raped her three times.

Hazel Behan, 40, said her attacker, who was dressed in black, struck in the middle of the night while she was asleep.

He was wearing a mask but she recognised the German's "piercing" eyes in a photo 16 years later. "I felt sick. I vomited. That's how I know who it is," she told the court.

Hazel, from Mullingar, Ireland, was 20 and working for a hotel in Praia da Rocha - near Praia da Luz where three-year-old Madeleine was abducted - when she was raped in June 2004.

When she went to local police they called her a "slut" and told her to go home, she said.
