Poison pen letter blasts 20ft ‘cheap, tacky inflatables’

Dave Goodings believes his 'unhappy' neighbour has blown the issue of the giant inflatables out of all proportion

A CHRISTMAS-loving man was shocked to receive an anonymous letter from a neighbour branding his 20ft festive decorations “cheap, tacky and out of place in our quiet street”.

Dave Goodings, 31, accidentally ordered a 20ft inflatable Santa last year, thinking it was only 4ft. He put it up anyway and says it drew crowds keen to get photos, so he added a 20ft snowman on Sunday.
