Gun victim's boyfriend jailed for dealing drugs

THE boyfriend of murder victim Ashley Dale has been jailed for five years for dealing drugs - almost three years after gangsters targeting him fatally shot her.

Ashley, 28, died when a drug dealer barged through the front door of her house in Liverpool and opened fire with a sub-machine gun.

A trial heard James Witham went to the house to kill her drug-dealer boyfriend Lee Harrison, who was out.

Witham, 41, Joseph Peers, 29, Niall Barry, 26, and Sean Zeisz, 28, were jailed in 2023 for a total of 173 years for the bungled hit.
