Guide dog Jennie collars Palace fuss

THE King and Queen welcomed more than 300 new MPs and peers to Buckingham Palace-but it was a bangerloving guide dog who got tails and tongues wagging.
Golden retriever Jennie, who has nearly 20,000 followers on X, was petted affectionately by Charles yesterday.
The King, 76, remarked "these wonderful dogs", before asking her owner, Torbay Lib Dem MP Steve Darling: "She knows her way round the House, does she? Mr Darling, who is registered blind, replied: "She knows the best place to go for sausages."
A laughing Charles asked: "Is the food there not too bad?" Mr Darling replied: "For her, it's her favourite."
