Guard told jailed ‘lover’ where rival was caged

A PRISON officer in a “romantic relationship” with a convicted killer told him where he could find a fellow inmate he wanted to “do in”.

Ellis Eyles, 24, acted as a go-between for Mitchell Ingham, 25, and his family by passing on messages, a court heard.

He was serving life at HMP Deerbolt, a young offenders unit, for murdering innocent bystander Dominic Doyle, 21, outside a Manchester bar in 2015.

Ingham’s mother Diane, who was jailed alongside him for trying to conceal his crime, was among those sending messages via Eyles.
