Good times are back for Badosa

PAULA BADOSA overcame the odds to reach her first Grand Slam semi-final by beating Coco Gauff.

World No.3 Gauff arrived at the first Major of the season in hot form after winning the season-ending WTA finals. But the Spanish No.11 seed won 7-5 6-4.

Badosa, who has battled depression, was forced out of the 2023 French Open with a stress fracture of her back and had to retire at Wimbledon that summer.
