A&E medic raced 115 miles after breaking her back
AN A&E doctor who recovered from a broken back to run for Great Britain in the 24-hour Running World Championship has been suspended for stealing prescription pills.
Dr Sarah Morwood, 36, was hailed by the NHS in Bath in 2019 for her "jaw-dropping" 115-mile run for the women's team in France just a year after suffering severe spinal injuries in a road smash.
But from 2017-2023 she helped herself to an "unnamed medication" from NHS stores.
