Park needs soft in Haldon

- By Melissa Jones

HARRY FRY is on weather watch for "very exciting" BetMGM Haldon Gold Cup Handicap Chase entrant Gidleigh Park.

The popular Grade Two event at Exeter on Friday has long been the target for the impressive winner of the samelevel Lightning Novices' Chase at Windsor in January.

Fry is hoping a yellow weather warning from the Met Office for rain until 6am tomorrow will ease the going so his plan can come to fruition.
