But when it will arrive is another matter

THOMAS FRANK is backing Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy in targeting a first Premier League title - but does not know how long it will take to deliver.

Levy, below, raised eyebrows last month when he declared Europa League glory in May under Ange Postecoglou was not enough and the club needed to win the league, despite previously presiding over a 17-year trophy drought.

New head coach Frank has promised to try to take Spurs, whose 17th-place finish last season was their lowest in the Premier League era, to new heights, saying: “I share his [Levy’s] ambitions for the club.

“A club of this size should have that ambition. How far away we are is difficult to say, but we should throw it forward and go for it.
