Fashion firm of Firth's ex-wife closed after theft of £500k by finance boss

Stavros Pavlou, 64, funnelled cash out of Eco-Age over 22 months, from June 2022 to April last year.

The business was owned by Livia Firth, who was married to star Colin for 22 years.

Head of finance Pavlou was arrested in May 2024 and admitted the fraud when interviewed by police, a court heard yesterday.

Italian-born Livia, 56, who had two sons with the actor before they split in 2019, had built Eco-Age up over 17 years.

It grew into an international business with offices in London and Milan. Clients included Harrods and Diesel.

But Eco-Age registered for voluntary liquidation last summer following Pavlou's "betrayal".

Companies House records show that the firm owed creditors £1.2million and had assets of just £27,000.
