Farage: 'I genuinely believe we can change the future of our country...'

Arriving on stage Birmingham's NEC to fireworks and rock music, he said the "sky is limit" at a time when disenchantment with the major parties has "never been greater".

Mr Farage said the first "test of fire" would be local elections next May when he hopes to take county councils and Brexit heartlands such as Doncaster in South Yorkshire as well as Thurrock in Essex.

He said if the party "gets May right" it can "produce a result that is truly astonishing".

The leader said Reform represents the "silent decent majority" of the country. And he added: "What we have to do is to be on the ground everywhere. What we have to do is to show we can bring success after success after success.

"If we do those things, we genuinely can I never thought I'd say this but I genuinely believe we can change the future of politics.
